Job Vacancies at Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM)

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), a leading private sector organisation representing the interests of over 2,500 leading industrial establishments in the country and provides trade, business and management support services to its members has the following vacancies :


1. EXECUTIVE – BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT DIVISION
Responsible to service working committees, advice members on changes to Government policies and regulations, organise seminars, prepare position papers, memoranda and articles, conduct surveys and relevant research.
Requirements
- Degree o Economics, Business Administration or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in similar capacity
- Knowledge on economic and industry issues and trends
- Good command of English, both written and oral

2. EXECUTIVE – INDUSTRY GROUPS MANAGEMENT DIVISION (2 Positions )
Manage operations of the industry groups, analyse industry data, prepare reports paper, plan and organise industry group meetings / activities / events, etc. Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Studies or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in economic, commercial or industry research
- Analytical and knowledgeable on economic and industry issues and trends
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with senior-level executives from the industry and government


3. EXECUTIVE – TRADE FAIRS, CONFERENCE & EVENTS
Organise and secure participation of FMM members and Malaysian companies in conferences, overseas Trade Fairs and special projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Science or its equivalent
- Preferably with 1 -2 years of working experience o sales, trade fairs and events management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willing to travel independently overseas

4. IT EXECUTIVE
Responsible in the overall maintenance and administration of FMM LAN and servers, including main focal point for IT support in the FMM BIC’s library system, PC software applications, hardware, system and network problems.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, ICT or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in similar capacity
- Ability to interact well at all levels
- Ability to write software programmes (such as C++, Java programming, ASP, DotNet web application) is essential

5. EXECUTIVE FMM INSTITUTE (Based in Penang)
Responsible for developing, organising and marketing training programmes; marketing of FMM membership; preparing reports; gather market information and undertake special projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Science, Management or its equivalent
- Preferably with 3 years of working experience in similar capacity
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Ability t multitask and interact well with all levels of personnel

6. SECRETARY
Responsible for provide secretarial and administrative support.
Requirements
- Diploma in Secretaryship or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Mature individual with good communication skills
